Who we are
TestPact ("we") is a community app that helps Android developers run Google Play closed tests together. Contact: vlathiya5944@gmail.com.
Data we collect
- Google account basics — name, email address, profile photo (from Google Sign-In). Your email is shared with the members of groups you join, because they must add it to their Play Console tester list. That is the core purpose of the app.
- App listings you submit — app name, package name, description, testing links, optional icon.
- Testing activity — for apps assigned to you in a group only: whether each is installed, how many minutes it was in the foreground today, and how often you opened it. Read with Android's Usage Access permission, which you grant and can revoke at any time. We never read activity for any other app on your phone.
- Device identifier — a one-way hashed Android ID, used only to allow one account per device and to enforce bans.
- Content you create — feedback, reports, appeals and screenshots you attach.
- Notification token — to send reminders and group updates.
- Device integrity verdict — where enabled, a Google Play Integrity check that the app runs on a genuine device.
How we use it
- To form groups, verify testing, calculate trust scores and handle reports.
- To send notifications about your group.
- To prevent fraud and abuse.
We do not sell your data.
Advertising
TestPact shows a small number of ads (starting 2 days after you create your account) through Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect your device's advertising ID, approximate location from your IP address, and app interaction data, and may use cookies or similar technologies. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent first, and you can change it any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's Google settings. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Because ads keep the app free, TestPact asks you to turn off Private DNS providers that block ads while you use it.
Who can see what
- Group members: your name, photo, email, app listing, trust score and daily testing status.
- All users: your public profile (name, photo, trust score, stats, badges).
- Developers you give feedback to: your feedback and screenshots.
- The TestPact admin: reports, appeals and data needed to review them.
Storage & security
Data is stored in Google Firebase (Google Cloud) and encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted by security rules; trust and group data can only be changed by our server.
Retention & deletion
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account, or see how to request deletion. Your account, profile, app listings and queue entry are deleted immediately. Feedback you gave other developers stays with them without a link to your account. If an account was banned, only a hashed device identifier is kept to stop ban evasion.
Children
TestPact is for developers aged 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live).
Changes
We'll post updates here and, for important changes, notify you in the app.
